notes:sungmin is diabetes inducing. this takes place during the coffee scent will always tinge the air, probably not all too long after heechul’s reflection of “perhaps he should be kinder to his characters, as siwon always had told him”, which might be what prompted his cameo in the drabble below.

(‘siwon,’ heechul says, ‘if i wrote your life, i'd give you a fairytale ending.’)
the cups sungmin places on the table are far larger than average; siwon isn't really sure as how to he'll be able to drink all the hot chocolate in it without feeling nauseous. sungmin smiles, curls up on the sofa across from where siwon's seated in the armchair.
‘sunny and i do this all the time in the winter,’ sungmin says, still smiling. always smiling. siwon likes it, sungmin’s smile. adores the warmth and sweetness it emits.
‘it's not really winter yet, though,’ siwon replies, after taking a sip of the hot chocolate. he smiles wanly.
‘i didn't feel like waiting until then to do it,’ sungmin answers, laughing lightly, his eyes disappearing and maybe it is only the light. or the lack of light. siwon closes his eyes. almost all too clearly, he hears how sungmin whispers, ‘i don't drink hot chocolate with just anybody, siwon. they have to be special.’
(and the way sungmin whispers, almost conspiratorially and as if it is the greatest secret in the world, is childish. cute, still, and maybe siwon should feel slightly awkward by it, but it just feels right when it is sungmin. like it makes sense.)
‘oh,’ says siwon. sungmin's laughter is light, but louder than before. placing the cup he's holding in his hands on the table, siwon gets up and sits beside sungmin instead – close, the length of their bodies touching.
he feels nervous, oh, does he ever, when he looks down and sees sungmin's eyes closed, lips parted just slightly and when sungmin says ‘sunny and i never do this,’ almost a whisper again but completely different from before, when he leans closer.. siwon lets their lips find each other.
it's sweet and sugary, of course it is, and maybe it won't be like this forever. it's more than alright though when he feels sungmin's breath across his cheek; on his neck when sungmin leans closer and burrows his head just a little.

and i'm not sweet, i think? just... stupid? lolidk :| and yeah. all shimin is good shimin, because at least it's shimin. there's way to little shimin being written imo.
zoo tycoon is a great game where you build zoos okay. it's supersuperfun. in the first game you could even have unicorns and mermaids, in the second you could do other fun stuff! madagascar is a fun movie with fun penguins!
and this is not a weird thing to notice, it's just... noticing stuff not everyone else notices. okay. like koalas having creepy eyes too if you stare too long, but so does kyuhyun so idk. cute things have creepy eyes, sometimes, or something.
